Easton Courts Barns Terms and Conditions
General
The letting of either Easton Court or Easton Stable (“the Properties”) for any period (“the Tenancy”) shall be between Easton Court Barns (“the Owner”) and the person(s) named on the booking form (“the Tenant(s)”) such expression to include any other person occupying the Property with the Tenant(s).,/p>
Bookings
All booking confirmations and Final Reservations are made by e-mail or telephoning Easton Court Barns on 01548 852243 or 07810 504948.,
Provisional bookings can be made for a barn and will be held for three days prior to final confirmation by telephone or e-mail. If no confirmation has been received after three days the dates will be released.
After a final confirmation of a booking, we will send you a Booking Form which should be completed and sent back by return with a cheque or credit card payment for one third of the full agreed rental price. We will then confirm the booking in writing. The balance will become due one month before the start of the rental period.
Insurance against cancellation
Easton Court Barns Insurance does not cover holiday cancellation and therefore, monies will not be reimbursed in the event of a cancellation. Accordingly, we advise you to take out Holiday Cancellation cover.
Rent
All bookings are to be made directly with the Owner. Rents shown are per week (or, where applicable, per Short Break).
Deposits and balance settlement
For bookings made more than 2 months before arrival, a deposit of one third of the total rent is payable on booking. For bookings made less than 2 months before arrival, the full rent is payable on booking. All without further demand. Once balance payment received, detailed arrangements for access to the property will be sent/advised.
Force Majeure
We cannot accept liability or responsibility for any alterations, delay or cancellation or any other loss or damage caused by war, civil strife, terrorist action, industrial disputes, fire, sickness, bad weather, epidemics, acts of any government, or public authority, changes imposed by re-scheduling of airlines or any event outside our control.
Commitment
Once confirmation of booking has been issued by Easton Court Barns, the Tenant is liable for total rent.
Cancellation
When booking arrangements have been confirmed the Tenant is then liable for the full cost of the holiday. Any cancellation thereafter must be made in writing to Easton Court Barns with the appropriate accompanying documentation. If the holiday is not covered under any Cancellation Protection Scheme the dates will be made available and if re-let the tenant will receive the full amount paid less a £25 administration charge.
Tenants Obligations
To pay for any losses or damages to the property, caused by the Tenant or a member of their party (reasonable wear and tear.
To take excellent care of the property and leave it ‘as found’ at the end of the tenancy. A cleaning service can be provided during the tenancy if requested in advance.
To permit the Owners reasonable access to the property.
Not to part with possession of the property, or share it, except with members of the party shown on the Booking Form.
Not to sell or transfer the booking to another party without the Owners’ agreement.
Not to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property description.
Not to cause annoyance or become a nuisance to occupants / neighbours in other properties in this very peaceful area.
Not to smoke in any of the properties.
Not to bring any pets without prior agreement.
Occupancy
Properties are equipped and offered for the number of persons indicated (including infants under 2 years using a cot rather than a bed) and parties in excess of these numbers are not permitted under any circumstances.
Termination
Easton Court Barns reserves the right to terminate the Tenancy immediately if any of the above conditions are not adhered to.
Discretion & Tenant Belongings
Bookings are accepted at the discretion of the owner. Tenant personal belongings are the complete responsibility of the tenant and no liability can be accepted for any loss/damage.
